Vernon Scott didn’t take long to make a decision.
 
Just a week after notching an offer from TCU, the three-star safety out of Mansfield Summit rewarded the Horned Frogs with a verbal commitment on Saturday afternoon.
 
He announced his decision via Twitter.

Talked to relative of his and the kid is definitely under the radar. Had to iron out a few physical issues I believe and hit the recruiting game a little late. I plan on keeping an eye on this guy. Really hope he remains a Frog.

He just committed to a team that is a national title favorite this year so I'm gonna go with him being out from under the radar.

Heard he wanted more offers from other major programs. Could be just a young man desiring more recognition. Just never know where flirting might take you is all.
