Not about what anyone does in their bedroom. Did you think the gays at BBC were having sex in the pews? It's about recognizing a variety of family structures.

I have no idea what the gays were doing, and I don't want to know. I really don't follow the SBC or church politics. I don't really remember expressing an opinion on the Broadway Baptist Church issue. Frankly if I like the preacher and the people are nice then I don't really care about some kind of national affiliation. I know where it is and it's a beautiful building. Howz that?

I don't really see that as a family structure. I have a hard time believing God does either. Why not just list them individually as members. If someone is bored enough to cross reference an address than more power to them.

The microbrewery down the street is Bluegrass Brewing Company so that is always what BBC means around here. If you ever go, get the margherita pizza with the pesto sauce.

Why come to Louisville for pizza when you're going to make us all fajitas and Viagra cookies?

We are doing BBQ chicken on the grill today and then next Saturday is our annual fajita blowout for my son's birthday. You are welcome to join us for either... :)

If you are scaring horses you are a better man than I.

If you're a farm boy...there's horses and well then there's bulls. Put me off my feed for a week once after visiting the relatives and witnessing that in action once. "Jesus, Mary, and Joseph" as an Irish Christian Brother I know is wont to say sometimes.

Wow, things have really gone well for you. So glad to hear that. Well I would much rather live in FW than Houston. I'm guessing that there is a lot of bankruptcy work going on now, but I know there are a lot of lawyers in this business too.

Well I went to Wickwire's church a few times in like 1990 or 1991 time frame. I'm trying to remember where it was then and what the name of it was. I'm thinking it was like off of Montgomery or University somewhere. I really like his preaching. In fact I think he's a great preacher. Do the ushers still tell you where you have to sit though? I guess that was the one thing I didn't like about it, but that might also be because of my problem with authority figures.

Anyway, really glad to hear you are doing so well. You seem very blessed to me.

Thanks man,
Sometimes I do not understand the crazy, winding, twisting path the Good Lord is taking me down, but I know I have an awful lot to be thankful for. God is good to me.

I don't know that ushers tell everyone where to sit so much as they try to get everyone to sit up close before they open up the back rows. I think a lot of churches do that. Sometimes I'm a little late and the ushers are a big help finding us 2 or 3 seats together. We used to meet in the old Colonial cafeteria building on Rogers Road, kind of behind Hoffbreau, near the place you rent paddleboats.

There are a lot of people out there with debt issues. There are a lot of attorneys that do BK, not so many that do debt defense for the individual suits. To me the competition of attorneys is not the problem so much as apathy or despair, the debtors tend to ostrich. An ounce of prevention is a pound of cure, and the reality of attorneys is that you can pay us now, or pay us later. I work a lot harder as a solo than I ever did as a deputy for about the same money, but life is a heck of a lot more interesting now.

I am openly heterosexual. I am not forced by society or my church to try and be a sexual orientation I am not.

I bet you flaunt your heterosexuality sometimes by holding your husband's hand or maybe even kissing him in public. Disgusting ... forcing your heterosexual agenda on us like that ...

I don't think gays openly flaunt drinking giant margaritas, either!

Once again, I point to this for Duq to contemplate. Some sectors of our society are actively engaged in pushing what cannot be considered a moderate agenda or a moderate treatment of people. This doesn't damn all Republicans, Republican voters, or conservatives, but shouldn't it raise some questions about the power centers of the Republican party right now?

This is not Eisenhower's party. This isn't even Nixon's party. This is George Wallace's, JBS's, and Jerry Falwell's party aligned with a few anti-government market types who see an opportunity to replace a commitment with a coupon.

The part in bold is the part, IMO, that doesn't come across often in your posts. I don't disagree with the sentiment here. Old school social conservatives have a very strong voice in the Republican party. Too strong, IMO. Don't disagree with that at all. I just argue that you paint with too broad a stroke, although I suspect you do so more for effect than anything ...

Wait, how is one openly heterosexual? Thyat is some leftist spin if I've ever heard it.

I know my preacher would not hesitate to give an openly gay homeless persson a sandwich, a cup of coffee, and a warm greeting.

He does not waste a lot of valuable sermon time harping on homosexuality, but he has come out several times and stated that homosexuality is contrary to the word of God. Is that discrimination?

hmmm.... I think secretly Rush Limbaugh must be gay, or pro gay, because Elton John performed at his wedding. Therefore, Rush Limbaugh is NOT a good Christian, and you good christians out there should probably stone him or something.

You got it H. They did not kick them out the door as Frisky wants to contend. Broadway Baptist lets homosexuals worship in their church. My church lets gays worship in church. But they should never expect to NOT here it called a sin in my church, just like spousal abuse, dishonesty, gluttony, adultery, sexual perversion, theft...you name it. God did not give us the law and gospel based first on foremost on the intent of not offending anyone.

so does your church kick out all the fat people for being gluttons?
