I remember a year back in the 60's when the cricket invasion was so intense, driving on the brick streets in downtown FW was like driving on a sheet of ice due to all the squished cricket innards on the road.

If you remember the 60's, you weren't there

One year the bottom of the elevator shaft at Max Goldsmith Stadium in Lewisville had feet of dead crickets in it.

The smell taking the elevator up to cover a football scrimmage was awful. And you could still smell it in the press box.

Felt bad for the guys who had to go in a shovel the crickets out.

I didn’t choose this place, my coon ass wife wanted to live where she could experience 4seasons. Like any place it has good an bad aspects. By the way, Texas has a cicada bloom also, 2028. So if you live in a wooded area, enjoy…

What kind of sick bastige amputates the feet from dead crickets and puts them in an elevator shaft? That is one extreme level sociopath. What is this world coming to?
