Exactly 6 years ago today we beat LSU 10-3. CWS.

I’ve been told reliving the past is frowned upon.

Notice I didn't tweet that lol...I’ve been told reliving the past is frowned upon.
Well, in that little drama, it wasn't just Alabama that discovered they got the wrong guy...I have a feeling that we are going to see a repeat of when Fran left and we discovered that Patterson was the brains of the organization. How funny would it be for Aggie to discover they recruited away the wrong guy?
Yeah, Aggie picked him up before it became completely clear.Well, in that little drama, it wasn't just Alabama that discovered they got the wrong guy...
I remember with great glee the photo taken near the end of the 82-0 OU-A&M rout, that some clever Aggy did a little Photoshop magic on to increase the funny level...Yeah, Aggie picked him up before it became completely clear.

I think there was a sack or something very, very late where the Aggy players were all jumping around and acting as if they had cured cancer. "Hey, guys... Knock it off."77-0. No points scored in the 4th quarter. Basically took a knee at the 3 at one point.
PreciselyIn fairness to Jim he took this program from on the brink of even existing to playing in Omaha before Kirk ever got here.
I think if the measure of a coach's tenure is 'would you make that same hire again?', can't imagine the overwhelming response to this would be YES. From where TCU baseball is now after this run with Schloss' and where it came from is light years. Runs like this in todays college baseball will be few and far between. I will be forever grateful for the wisdom of Eric Hyman in making that hire. I wish the same for ADJD (fingers crossed, etc., etc.). All of us want to see that trophy raised in Omaha by the Frogs. The heavy lifting has been done and this is the tricky part that you finish it off or fall back. You have to be good and LUCKY. Here's hoping the person(s) making this decision are both.I have a feeling that we are going to see a repeat of when Fran left and we discovered that Patterson was the brains of the organization. Sadly, TWSSDid Not.....Too l̶o̶n̶g̶ logical.
Odd. I haven’t emailed my buddy Donati yet.FWIW…. the expectation remains that the job is Kirk’s and that it should be announced in the coming days. From what I’ve been told the heavy campaigning from players and deep pockets had quite a bit of impact.
