Say what you want, but the reality is that TCU sports have underperformed and disappointed in perfect correlation with the start of his leadership.

The results speak for themselves.

The guy needs to go.

Just a few weeks ago everybody was all excited about how we were doing. What gives? Baseball regular season and post season tournament champs. tournament rank 6. Tennis and golf in NCAAs. Women's soccer elite 8. Rifle National Champs. Probably some others that I am missing. Other schools would like to be so underperforming and disappointed.

Maybe we should cancel football and basketball to become an Olympic sport school

The awful coach, (that this curse can’t keep around-although he already did once), made some awful decisions and we’re mad that he might leave, but we’ll also help him pack. Then, some of the 18 and 19 year olds that we live and die with made a few costly errors. Then, those same 18 and 19 year olds didn’t hit very well today. Then, our lord and savior, and all-world closer, (who we were mad at that awful coach-that we want to stay, but will help him pack-for not bringing in last night), gave up a run and we lost us a game.
We blame all of that on an athletic director who we are mad at because we had to wear masks,(even though we really didn’t, but we’re going to be pissy about it), and we all couldn’t pack Lupton(even though if it’s not a series against Texas or Tech, we wouldn’t anyways), and even though a few weeks ago we could go 100% capacity. And we packed Lupton, and it was fun as hell, until we lost....because of the athletic director.

I think he sent some mean tweets or something.

I love watching baseball and having successful olympic sports, but every AD in America is judged on the performance of the revenue generating sports. I'm not saying Donati has done a terrible job, but what has he done to improve upon where we were when CDC left?

I don't have a strong opinion on Donati at this point one way or the other but I agree with your first premise. I will ultimately only judge Donati on the basis of how well, first and foremost, our football team performs and, to a much lesser extent, how well our basketball team performs. When it comes to realignment, those are the only sports that really matter and the only sports that can make a difference when it comes to generating significant revenue.

Don't get me wrong, other sports have their place and I would cheer on a Horned Frogs tiddlywinks team if we had one. But in today's world of big-time Power Five college athletics, football is the king, basketball is a young prince, baseball is a step-child at best, and all the other sports are orphans.

The guy needs to go.

He has almost nothing to do with our results on the field. You should change your name to Assclown Frog.

I hardly ever post, but after today's baseball game........

When it's all said and done an AD job is to hold those below him accountable. An AD may choose how he he does that, but just based on observation of the current AD I don't believe he has. CDC praised those beneath him, but I am sure behind closed doors he had expectations and did and said things none of us are aware of to make sure we succeeded. Since JD took over it seems the others may be ruling him instead of vice versa for whatever reason. The last 3 football and basketball seasons, and especially this baseball season have killed me and my son. What's even worse is that I am not an alum, yet TCU was my dream school (another story for another day). I feel for you alums because I am sure it pains you all. I really wish I knew where the problem lies within the athletic department but something just doesn't feel right. I have been trying to put my finger on it but can't. I want to get back to where we where were when CDC was in charge because those were some awesome years. JD was hand picked and I want him to step up and succeed. So grow some balls, engage with those who love TCU and make TCU the prominent national figure it can be.
And JD if you or any of your staff even visits this site, WE CARE. Do what you need to do. I know you can't control everything, but sometimes hearing an outside perspective helps. Like I said, even though I am not an alum, I am just as passionate as those who are. You want to hit me up, go for it. CDC always responded to me and I want you to do even better than that. Just remember, TCU really is the little guy who CAN kick everyone's a**, so let's do it.
I have faith he can pull it off, so for those of you who think I am full of S*** so be it. We have come too far just to watch it fade way.

Have you filed a police report? Impressive/ puzzling you can speak from beyond the grave and choose to post on a fan forum.

And what has he done to cause a fall off since CDC left?

He's been at the helm as our athletic programs and coaches have been required to embrace and support wokeness, perhaps at the occasional expense of discipline and hard work.

Nothing wrong with being woke, mind you. Still got to take care of business.

I am truly just curious. Turning the question around implies, at a minimum, we are ok with stagnation at the AD position.

Sounds almost like a placeholder position at times. @ $1M+ per year, that's a heck of a gig.
